The Unimot Group commenced sales of diesel oil from the terminal of Baltchem in Szczecin, strengthening in this way its presence in north-western Poland.
Diesel oil is delivered from the Baltchem terminal in Szczecin by barge, where in turn it's delivered by tankers. The Baltchem terminal in Szczecin allows the Unimot Group to load diesel oil to road tankers and tank cars and in the further step transport the fuel primarily to the territory of north-western Poland.
– We are consistently diversifying directions of deliveries and strengthening our presence in the region, where previously we did not have our depot. Supplementing our portfolio with deliveries from another depot will allow us to reach a larger group of customers and also guarantee continuity of supplies to our trade partners as well as our AVIA stations – says Robert Brzozowski, vice-president of the management board of Unimot for commercial affairs.
The agreement between the Unimot Group and Baltchem Zakłady Chemiczne in Szczecin covers reload, storage and compulsory reserve. Baltchem allows for utilisation of an attractive location, extended infrastructure that includes own quays, storage facilities for liquid products, railway sidings, flyovers, pumping stations and technological pipelines networks as well as transport connections for both rail and road transport, which creates favourable conditions for rendering reloading services.
