Piotr Gorzeński was appointed the new president of the Port of Gdynia Authority.
The Port of Gdynia officially
announced that Piotr Gorzeński is the new president of the Port of
Gdynia Authority. He took up the position today, April 10.
Piotr Gorzeński has been associated
with the maritime industry for years. He worked, among others, at PGZ
Stocznia Wojenna and Remontowa Lighting Technologies (in both cases
as logistics director), recently he held the position of director of
strategy and development at Polish Ocean Lines. Previously, he was
also associated with Orlen.
Let us recall that the Port of Gdynia
entered the competition for the new president of the Port of Gdynia
twice. The first procedure was completed without selecting
candidates. Immediately afterwards, on March 19, the second one was
announced. Qualification interviews with the supervisory board were
scheduled for April 8.
On March 19, 2024, Mirosław Czapiewski took over the position of Vice-President of the Management Board for Infrastructure and Property Management. There is still one vacancy in the Port of Gdynia Authority - on the position of Vice-President of the Management Board for Finance and Asset Management. The procedure for this position was closed again without selecting a candidate.
