The Marine Projects Ltd. shipyard in Gdańsk built a partially equipped hull of the fishing vessel Nord Fugløy. On Thursday, December 15, it left the dock and sailed in tow to Norway.
The partially equipped hull of the fishing vessel, made by Marine Projects Ltd., was placed in a floating dock and launched on December 9, and then, on December 15, it left the shipyard and sailed to Norway towed by tugboat Bestla. On site, at the Larsnes Mek. Verksted AS shipyard the vessel will be finished.
The fishing vessel was ordered by
the Norwegian shipowner Camaro Fiskeriselskap AS, and will be
delivered in the spring. It measures 50.7 m in length and 12 m in
width. There are 11 cabins on board for 14 crew members.
Nord Fugløy is another
collaboration between Marine Projects and Norwegian Larsnes Mek.
Verksted. In recent months, the Polish shipyard has launched and
handed over to Norwegian colleagues partially equipped hulls of other
ships, such as the 80-meter live fish carrier Orca Yka for a
shipowner from Chile and a slightly larger Ro Senja for a shipowner
from Norway.
