Sunreef Yachts is pleased to announce the launch of a brand new Sunreef 58 named Blue Desert. The yacht was built in high-tech composite materials via vacuum infusion, like her predecessor, the Sunreef 58 Summerfield.

 The Sunreef 58 concept was born as a response to numerous inquiries from customers seeking a light, neat and comfortable yacht for long cruises with or without crew. One of the features that make Blue Desert unique is the galley. It resembles the one found on the Sunreef 60 Loft Meri II, yet has seen some unique modifications. With the saloon space slightly reduced, an additional worktable with sink, underneath cabinets and kitchen appliances was integrated. Just as on the Sunreef 60 Loft Meri II, the galley is separated from the living room with a “magic glass” wall. This type of glass was also used for the folding doors in the master cabin, setting the living space apart from the bathroom. “Magic glass” is 90% transparent when turned on, and has a frosted aspect when it is turned off, providing privacy.

 In the fore cabin, a sliding bed, that can be used as two single ones or one double, was installed. The saloon hosts a mini bar, space for a coffee maker and a dishwasher located underneath. The entire floor on the catamaran is teak covered with two distinct types of finishes for the inside and deck. The hulls are covered with blue antifouling that perfectly complement the decorative stripes and the boat\'s logo.

 The unit will be displayed during upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival 2014 held between 9th and 14th of September 2014. Sunreef Yachts will be available for all visitors at Vieux Port - Espace CATAMARANS – CAT 001.
