In its current report, Polenergia noted important progress in implementing plans to build wind farms in the Baltic Sea.

Project companies: MFW Bałtyk II sp. z o.o. and MFW Bałtyk III sp. z o. o., in which Polenergia S.A. owns 50% of the shares, today concluded reservation agreements with the supplier, Heerema Marine Contractors Nederland SE.

It was reported in Current Report 22/2024 that the reservation agreements concluded today oblige the parties to continue negotiations on final agreements regarding the transport and installation of wind turbines and a transformer station. They also take into account the necessary preliminary work, which will become an integral part of the final contracts, provided they are signed.

These arrangements are of strategic importance for the further construction of the Bałtyk II OWF and the Bałtyk III OWF, guaranteeing the timely availability of the necessary resources, in particular the reservation by the supplier of installation vessels for the implementation of the projects in accordance with the assumed schedule.
