By decision of the President of the Energy Regulatory Office of the 27th May 2020, the Transmission Network Code of the Polish Section of the Transit Gas Pipeline System Jamal – Europe (the “TNC of TGPS”) was approved.  The document is a legal framework for the Polish TGPS section.

The proposed changes result from the need to adapt the TNC of TGPS to changing legal requirements and to the entrustment agreement concluded by GAZ-SYSTEM and EuRoPol GAZ s.a., relating to operator’s duties applied to the Yamal Gas Pipeline stemming from  the President of the Energy Regulatory Office Decision from 19 December 2019. The implemented solutions are also the result of experience gained during the application of the present TNC of TGPS, as well as suggestions provided by the transmission system users as a result of consultations on the draft Instruction, which took place in March 2020.

Pursuant to the decision of the President of the Energy Regulatory Office, the amended TNC of TGPS shall enter into force on 1st June, 2020 at 6:00 a.m.

At the same time we would like to inform you that the content of the TNC of TGPS approved by the President of the Energy Regulatory Office has been published by GAZ-SYSTEM in the Customer Zone section.
