Ambiens, MAG Offshore and Subnea have signed the agreement on cooperation in the field of environmental impact assessments implemented for offshore projects in Poland and the Baltic Sea basin.
Ambiens, after 13 years of presence in wind energy, opens an office in Gdynia and develops the offshore team responsible for strategic planning and supervision, permitting and relations with the client and key stakeholders. – We are aware of the needs of the changing offshore wind energy market and the new challenges of the industry – emphasizes Michał Kaczerowski, president of Ambiens.
MAG Offshore is a daughter company of Morska Agencja Gdynia, which has a tradition spanning 70 years of experience of the industry leader. MAG Offshore is focusing on a modern approach to dynamically developing wind energy that needs effective management, standardization, and an optimal, safe fleet. – We see great potential in renewable energy sources in the Baltic Sea. The potential of the Baltic Sea, estimated at 80GW, needs our joint experience at various stages of project life – lists Paweł Weiner, president of MAG Offshore.
– We are happy to join forces, which will positively translate into competition, quality and will additionally drive the offshore wind energy market – says Maciej Fojcik, CEO of Subnea. Many years of experience in the field of environmental research at the Baltic Sea, conducted by the Subnea leaders will be crucial in developing methodologies and carrying out marine surveys.
The goal of JV is to implement effective and dynamic permitting with particular emphasis on its starting and key stage, which is the environmental impact assessment. The quality and schedule of the project, to a large extent, depend on it, and it must ultimately be financed, built, and effectively operated, considering the environment and social conditions.
