PORR will renovate the entrance to the Ustka port

PORR won the tender for the renovation of the entrance to the port in Ustka. As part of the project, two breakwaters and several quays will be renovated.

Last week, the Maritime Office in Gdynia announced the results of the tender for the contractor of the Ustka port entrance renovation. Five bidders took part in the competition: Budimex, PORR, the consortium Strabag and WMW Marek Pestilenz and Wojciech Pestilenz, Korporacja Budowlana Doraco, and FABE Polska.

The offer submitted by PORR was rated the highest. After signing the contract, the company will begin implementing the task, which is divided into two parts. The first part concerns the renovation of the Eastern Breakwater and the Pilot Wharf, while the second part includes the renovation of the Western Breakwater, Low Wharf, Treasury Wharf, and the slip, as well as the Hel Spur and the Western Breakwater Spur.

PORR will receive 42,869,895.54 PLN (gross) for the first part and 59,623,867.24 PLN for the second part.

Investments in the Ustka port are intended to help leverage the potential of the offshore wind industry. PGE Baltica and RWE are building their service bases at the Ustka port.
