The simulator consists of both hardware and software components and accurately replicates a real 8-ton diesel-powered forklift available on the market.
Key features of the Flint Systems' simulator include:
• Warehouse scenarios;
• Shelving for heavy loads;
• Truck loading/unloading;
• Loading/unloading from a loading ramp;
• Terrain obstacles (puddles, tools, road markers);
• Moving obstacles (people, other machines);
• Practice exam drills alongside skill-enhancing exercises;
• Train for the unexpected – learn how to react to falling loads;
• Changing weather conditions and times of day.
With the help of this simulator, students under the age of 18 can safely practice forklift driving in a virtual environment.
The company announced in August that it had won a tender to provide a professional forklift training simulator for the Sandor Petöfi Vocational School Complex in Ostróda. This is the next school to choose this solution, which is expected to demonstrate confidence in Flint Systems' products and its commitment to the development of Polish education.
