Since the beginning of its existence, i.e. since 1991, Naftoport in Gdańsk has transshipped nearly 300 million tons of crude oil. Only in 2021, 18 million tons of the raw material and petroleum products were delivered to the customers via this route - the owner of Naftoport, PERN group, informed on Wednesday.
Naftoport is
today a key company ensuring diversification of oil supplies to
Poland.
Naftoport's
terminal ("Fuel Depot") is the only terminal of maritime
transshipment of crude oil in Poland and the largest terminal for
transshipment of liquid fuels. The terminal infrastructure includes
five transhipment sites located in three basins with a combined
capacity of 40 million tonnes of crude oil and liquid fuels per
year.
