On Monday, a gas carrier arrived at the LNG Terminal in Świnoujście with another delivery of gas from the United States. On that day, the terminal was also visited by the US ambassador to Poland, Mark Brzezinski.
The Flex Ranger gas carrier
delivered to Świnoujście 80,000 tons of LNG straight from the
American Sabine Pass. It was the 23rd delivery of liquefied natural
gas to the Polish LNG terminal this year, and the 229th delivery
since the beginning of the terminal's operation. Its operator
Gaz-System estimates that it will be able to accept about sixty
deliveries throughout 2023. This will be possible thanks to the
infrastructure expansion that is about to be completed, which will
significantly increase the capacity of the terminal.
On the same day, the terminal was
also visited by the US ambassador to Poland, Mark Brzezinski. The
diplomat held a working meeting with the participation of the West
Pomeranian Voivode Zbigniew Bogucki and the President of Gaz-System
Marcin Chludziński, which concerned Polish-American cooperation in
the field of gas supplies.
