Jarosław Siergiej is the new president of the Szczecin and Świnoujście Seaports Authority.
According to the
announcement of the commencement of the qualification procedure for
the president and members of the management board of the Szczecin and
Świnoujście Seaports Authority, the deadline for submitting
applications expired on Friday, and they were to be officially opened
on Saturday. Interviews with candidates were scheduled for Monday.
This morning, local media in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship
announced that Jarosław Siergiej was the new president of the
Szczecin and Świnoujście Seaports Authority. The company confirmed
the information.
This is Siergiejs return to the
position he held in 2008-2013. Previously, he was also the president
of Port Police. Moreover, in 2014-15 he served as the president of
the Polish Baltic Shipping Company. In recent years, he worked for
Wodociągi Zachodniopomorskie.
The new president is
scheduled to officially take office on March 1.
The media reported that a
total of 10 candidates took part in the competition.
At the same time, the ZMPSiŚ
supervisory board ended the procedures for the positions of
vice-president for economic and financial affairs and vice-president
for infrastructure without selecting candidates. In this situation,
another competition will be announced.
