On October 4th of this year, Baltic Operator Sp. z o.o., a company belonging to GPBaltic signed a contract to produce two offshore substation platforms (OSS) for Baltic offshore wind farm projects.
Within the scope of this contract, Baltic Operator will manufacture the steel structures of two substations with a total weight of 2,600 tons. The production of the offshore transformer stations for the first Polish offshore wind farm in the Baltic Sea will commence this month and will be carried out simultaneously at the production facilities of the Baltic Industrial Group in Gdansk and Gdynia.

The production of the mentioned substations will be smoothly integrated into the manufacturing process after the delivery of two substations for the American offshore project from the production sites in Gdynia later this month.
