Flint Systems is pleased to announce that we signed a contract to develop a new crew transfer vessel (CTV) simulator for the Lithuanian Maritime Academy.
This project involves delivering a crew transfer vessel in virtual reality and accurately replicating the Port of Klaipeda, Lithuanian territorial sea with an offshore wind farm and economic zone within the VR environment. The simulator will utilize our advanced motion platform, delivering a fully immersive training experience designed to enhance maritime training and operational skills.
The simulator will be used for training captains of crew transfer vessels operating on the country’s offshore wind farms.
Leszek Tarnawski, President of the Board at Flint Systems, expressed his enthusiasm for the new project: “We are excited and proud to have secured this important contract with the Lithuanian Maritime Academy. Our team is committed to delivering a high-quality simulator that will significantly advance maritime training. The delivery of the simulator will be completed by the end of 2024.”
