The 188-meter ro-pax Finnfellow
sailed today for the first time from Malmö, Sweden, to Świnoujście,
inaugurating a new daily service.
Finnlines recently announced
the launch of a new service between Malmö and Świnoujście. The
Finnfellow ship set off on its first cruise from Sweden today around
10:15 a.m., it will arrive in Świnoujście around 7 p.m. At 9:30
p.m. the vessel will depart for the return cruise and arrive in Malmö
at 6:30 a.m. the next day.
Finnlines has been present in the
port of Malmö since 2002. In addition to the new route to Poland,
the carrier also offers daily line connections from there to
Travemünde in Germany.
The Finnfellow ship serving the new
route is a Swedish-flagged ro-pax ship built in 2000. The vessel has
a 3,099-meter loading line and can accommodate 440
passengers.
