Work on T3 is in full swing. The deepening of the fairway to the new terminal and the construction of a platform for its main structure are in progress.
Currently, dredging works are underway
at the water construction site in the area of the future port basin
of the T3 wharf. The work is carried out with two suction-regulating
dredgers, each of which can take on board over 5,000 cubic meters of
bottom material. The material obtained from dredging will be used in
the next step to construct the platform.
At the same time, the construction of
sheet piling around the future terminal is underway. Everything is
going according to plan.
The works assume the execution of dredging works with a volume of over 4 million m3 and the construction of a deep-water quay with a length of 717 m. Terminal T3 will have an area of 36.5 ha and a depth of 17.5 m.
