Today, the Wes Gesa containership called at the GCT terminal in Gdynia, officially inaugurating the new service of the Ocean Network Express line connecting the Baltic Sea with the Iberian Peninsula and the British Isles.
The
containership Wes Gesa entered Gdynia Container Terminal today. This
is the ship's first call to Gdynia as part of the updated Ocean
Network Express service called IBESCO. The weekly service connects
base ports in Poland, Scandinavia, Portugal and Great Britain.

According
to the schedule, ONE ships are expected to complete the entire
rotation in 28 days.
ONE
announced the extension of the service to Gdynia at the end of May.
This is to be the first stage of strengthening the line's position in
our country.
Wes Gesa, which called Gdynia Container Terminal as a first ship of the service, is a 152-meter containership built in 2012 with a gross capacity of 10,585 tons. It sails under the flag of Cyprus. Interestingly, as part of the first call, the ship delivered e.g. empty containers that will be used to build the start/finish line for the ONE Terminal RUN Hutchison Ports Gdynia 2023 run, which will takeplace this Sunday.
