A company under restructuring - Vistal Offshore - is looking for a buyer or lessee of a production property in the area of the Port of Gdynia from July 1, 2023. The lease of nearly 3.5 hectares of land with buildings will be possible after the current user - Karstensen Shipyard Poland - leaves the area.

A modern production plant at the Indian Quay in the Port of Gdynia is looking for a new lessee and a potential buyer. However, the purchase of real estate will be possible only after the final approval of the arrangement with creditors, which will be crowned by the restructuring process that has been going on for nearly 5 years. Meanwhile, Vistal Offshore proposes a lease agreement.

The plant, commissioned in 2014, is perfectly adapted to the production of steel structures, especially wind towers, bridges or, as recently, seagoing ships. The investment was designed with the intention of building windmills, Karstensen produced hulls there, and there are more possibilities.

There is an area of 32,932 m² of land with access to water, road and railway infrastructure. The permissible load on the floor inside the hall is 2t/m², and on the yard - as much as 5t/m². The property is also equipped with its own lifted railway siding, installation of technical gases and a stand for loading very heavy steel structures up to 8,000 tons. tonnes directly to the vessel.

On the property there is one of the most modern halls in Poland with a production area of 12,000 m². The facility has a hoisting capacity of 10 cranes - from 20 to 100 tons, and thanks to the possibility of working in tandem with cranes, it is possible to lift a unit weight of up to 200 tons. The hall is very high - it is 34 m to the ridge, and the height to the crane hook is as much as 27 m. The megagate with dimensions of 27 x 33 m should also be emphasized. This means that you can build a whole ship there and drive it through the gate. The hall also has an anti-corrosion line with an area of 2,000 m2. m². On the extension of the low aisle of the hall, you can directly enter the 40-meter blasting chamber and then into the 60-meter painting chamber. Tracks are built into the floor, so heavy structures can be placed there. The blasting chamber works in a closed circuit. The painting chamber has 4 furnaces for fuel oil, which allows it to meet the requirements regarding temperature and humidity.

The entire facility can be supplied with 5.4 MW. It has its own direct power line. The entire hall is equipped with busbars, each with the possibility of connecting up to 2,000 A. The building also has its own generator and smoke extraction system. In the event of a power failure, an independent power supply is provided for safe exit from the site.

A 5-storey administrative and social building is built into the hall. The building is made of reinforced concrete, thanks to which the noise from the hall does not get inside. The building has full infrastructure, teletechnical network, CCTV system and access control.

Vistal Offshore Spółka z o.o. under restructuring is currently under the supervision of a court supervisor (executor of the arrangement with creditors), who is the only entity authorized to dispose of the property, conclude all agreements and sell the Company's assets.
