A modern factory for wind tower production will be built in the Port of Szczecin

The Szczecin and Świnoujście Seaports Authority (Zarząd Morskich Portów Szczecin i Świnoujście SA) and Windar Polska sp. z o.o. have signed a preliminary agreement in Szczecin for the lease of land located on Ostrow Grabowski in the Szczecin port.
A factory will be built on the 17 ha site to manufacture wind tower components and foundation structures for wind turbine towers. The manufactured components will be transported using, among other things, sea transport.
According to the approved schedule, the factory will commence operation in the first half of 2026. It will employ at least 400 people. The value of the project on the investor's side is estimated at EUR 70 million.
After the installation terminal for offshore wind farms in Świnoujście, this is another undertaking in the Szczecin-Świnoujście port complex related to renewable energy sources.
